Former Mayor of Beylikdüzü, Vehbi Orakçı, visited Adil Koçalan, Chairman of Istanbul Media Publishing Group and Vice President of the Turkish Internet Media Association (TİMBİR).
In the meeting, held in a warm and productive atmosphere, the parties discussed modern urban governance, the role of civil society, and the growing impact of digital media in strengthening transparent communication between local governments and the public. The strategic importance of digital publishing in providing accurate and timely information was particularly emphasized.
The visit was regarded as an important step toward enhancing sustainable cooperation among public institutions, media, and civil society.
During the program, information was shared about the activities of TİMBİR and the Birlik News Agency (BHA). Adil Koçalan presented the TİMBİR badge to Vehbi Orakçı, and BHA Founding Member and UK Representative İsmail Karakaş gifted him the book “Zirvedekiler.”
